Global Accord 2017 Dinner

Join your fellow attendees and the Global AYA Cancer Congress Leadership Team for the official congress dinner at the historic location of 200 Peachtree in Downtown Atlanta, a short walk from the host hotel.  The venue is the famous refurbished Macy’s Banking Hall, boasting historical significance and contemporary glamour, and will feature a welcome reception, three-course dinner, and great entertainment showcased against this backdrop of southern elegance and charm.

The Archie Bleyer Trailblazer Award will also be presented at the Global AYA Congress Dinner and the not-to-be-missed After-Dinner speaker will be Professor Archie Bleyer himself.

Dress code: Just be comfortable.  Timing: 6.30pm – 10.00pm

Delegates requiring a Letter of Invitation in order to apply for a visa must register for the Congress and have paid in full.  Delegates may submit a request for a visa letter prior to us receiving their full payment. The Letter of Invitation will only be sent once the delegate is approved and full payment has been received.  To request a Letter of Invitation, please complete the form.

Please allow 7 days for the production of your Letter of Invitation by the Secretariat.

The supply of a Letter of Invitation does not guarantee that you will receive a visa.

Your letter will be sent to you as a pdf by E-Mail.  The Secretariat cannot enter into direct contact with embassies on behalf of delegates; it remains the delegate’s individual responsibility to organise and obtain their own visa, at their own cost, to enter the USA.

Apply early for your visa

The visa application process to enter the United States is now subjected to greater degrees of scrutiny than in the past. For this reason, the application process can take up to six months or more. You will need to apply for your visa as early as possible, but no later than three months before you wish to enter the USA.

There are several steps to apply for a visa. The order of these steps and how you complete them may vary at the Embassy or Consulate where you apply.

This web page will help you ascertain the visa requirements for your entry into the USA:
